General Terms and Conditions (AGB)


1. Scope of application (Geltungsbereich)

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers or merchants through our online store **Adam Käserei**.

All offers and services are exclusively subject to these terms.

3. Conclusion of the contract (Vertragsschluss)

Once the products are placed in the online store, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these products. The contract is concluded when you click on the "Order now" (or "Buy") button on the checkout page. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after completing your order.

4. Right of withdrawal and return (Widerrufsrecht)

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal for food products: Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts pursuant to § 14 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 BGB:

  • Goods that can spoil quickly or that will exceed their expiration date quickly (such as fresh cheeses, and refrigerated dairy products).
  • Goods whose seals have been opened after delivery and become non-returnable for health or hygiene reasons.

For other non-food products, the usual legal right of withdrawal applies.

5. Prices and shipping costs (Preise und Versandkosten)

All prices listed in the store include the legal value-added tax (usually 7% for cheeses and 19% for others).

Shipping costs are added to the prices of the products listed. Shipping costs will be clearly indicated in the shopping cart system and on the order page.

6. Delivery and cold chain (Lieferung & Kühlkette)
  • Packaging: Our cheese products are shipped in special thermally insulated containers with cooling elements to ensure that the product arrives fresh.
  • Customer Responsibility: Due to the perishable nature of the products, the customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the shipment at the specified delivery address at the expected delivery time.
  • Product damage: The company is not responsible for damage to products resulting from the customer's delay in receiving the shipment or their absence from the address, as long as the shipment was made on time.
7. Payment Terms (Zahlungsbedingungen)

The following payment methods are available in our store:

  • Prepayment (Vorkasse)
  • Credit card (Kreditkarte)
  • PayPal (PayPal)
  • Cash on delivery
8. Retention of title (Eigentumsvorbehalt)

The goods remain the property of **Adam Käserei** until the full price has been paid.

9. Warranty for defects (Gewährleistung)

Legal warranty rights (Mängelhaftungsrecht) apply. In case the product arrives damaged or unfit for consumption, please contact us immediately and attach photos of the product for compensation.
